Hadestown Animatic
Prompt: Create an animation with a subject of your choosing to work on and polish under the supervision of a mentor.
My Process:
Aside from being a huge Greek mythology nerd, I am a self-titled theater kid at heart. So, I was immediately enthralled with the Tony Award-winning musical Hadestown, a jazz-folk retelling of the Tragedy of Orpheus and Eurydice. I set out to scale up the steam-punk, 1920s stage that Anaiis Mitchell, Rachel Hauck, and Rachel Chavkin created and perfected and capture the drama as my mind saw it.
