"Aretaloger" -Dead Word

My Process:
For my word, I decided that the type design should be inspired by religious text and calligraphy. Because of it being an outdated word, I decided to use blackletter-a very ancient-looking typeface. For the animation, I wanted to create something that was a playful way of displaying the meaning.
